Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking someone with  Technical Project Management experience:

  • Developing monthly status reports, spend plans, schedules, and overarching project plans compiled by attending technical discussions, project team PMRs, and project meetings; then working across internal/external stakeholders for review.
  • Supporting the project technical library/document archive. Assisting in populating the library with critical documents and configuration management items
  • Translating the project teams' requirements into top-level technical requirements and properly documenting and vetting the requirements with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Providing systems integration, engineering, and project management guidance to the Project Team Lead; this support could include, but is not limited to, the following: Project SOPs review, requirements definition/review, schedule management, budget execution, product delivery/pack-out, instructional development, and long-term strategic roadmaps.
  • Facilitating the course curricula and classroom environment including instructional development, coordination, registration, and execution.
  • Coordination and facilitation of project team meetings with internal/external project stakeholders and consultation/workshops as requested.
  • Facilitating an International Shipping course including instructional development, registration, and coordination.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 8 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Ability to travel - estimated 10% of the time.
  • Experience with project management of technical projects, to include direct responsibility for budget and schedules.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing tasking simultaneously.
  • Experience working with SMEs and stakeholders to drive consensus, communicate status, and execute projects.
  • Experience with end-to-end systems engineering and integration lifecycle with demonstrated ability to shepherd initial project requirements through to a qualified and delivered product.
  • Capable of operating with minimal guidance, a self-starter, with a strong degree of initiative.
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skills, adept at anticipating problems and creating solutions.
  • Ability to communicate project needs in a politically astute manner and appreciate the diverse/nuanced skillsets of stakeholders involved in each project.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders across organizational and functional boundaries.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with effective interpersonal skills to include excellent oral and written communication.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
