Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and innovation-minded Technical Project Manager who thrives in a team-oriented environment with a passion to serve both their mission and customers. This role offers great opportunities for growth and developing innovative technical portfolio-based solutions.

The Technical Project Manager will initially be responsible for leading a contract providing network architecture and engineering services to a critical mission customer. Additional responsibilities will include bringing innovate ideas, concepts, assessment and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions across the portfolio. Our dynamic program team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms.

 

Duties may also include:

  • Leading a team of contractors to ensure quality delivery that satisfies customer goals and objectives
  • Accountability for the performance and results of this team within our area of specialty
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
  • Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures, and department plan; receives guidance from manager
  • Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
  • Interfacing with the customer’s mission and contract representatives
  • Managing the PMO functional support activities including finance, contracts, and subcontracts
  • Leading staffing efforts working across Peraton and subcontractors
  • Achieving corporate financial targets
  • Developing and implementing strategies for contract growth and to position for follow-on acquisitions
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 years of management or technical leadership experience
  • A proven track record of future technology assessment, selection, development, and implementation
  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational, communication, stakeholder and contractor management skills, along with expertise in technology innovation
  • Experience successfully leading teams of engineering staff to achieve customer satisfaction and provide innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead discussions with customers and company leadership
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with network architecture/design/installation, network and firewall vendor products including Cisco, Palo Alto, and SonicWall
  • PMP certification highly desired
  • DoD 8570 certifications
  • BS degree in STEM or related field desired

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
