We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to Support Senior Program Manager of Migration with day-to-day activities working on either Hanscom AFB or Langley AFB with flexiblity to work remote & several days onsite, for local candidates to either Hanscom AFB or Langley AFB.
The candidate that we hire for this role will be responsible for the following:
Supports the Active Directory (AD) migration of 300,000+ Active Directory (AD) user accounts and objects. Supports the performance of a large, complex technical project in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Drives performance and the technical direction of the project through installation in accordance with project objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Works closely with the Senior Program Manager and customer on a daily basis and provides status updates.
What you'll do:
Supports the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
