Responsibilities
Require experience with VoIP, inbound and outbound voice networks, experience with network protocols and circuit provisioning and standards, understanding of LAN protocols. Familiarity with VoIP troubleshooting methods utilizing tools, such as Cisco RTMT or Wireshark
- Cisco VoIP experience (phone configuration, dial plan, CUCM, CER, Unity Connection, Call Manager, etc.)
- Ensure incident tickets are attended to in a timely manner, escalated as appropriate, and closed with proper documentation.
- Proven ability to plan, investigate, design and implement voice networks.
- Ability to effectively interact with customers to discuss needs and provide solutions.
- Manage and Maintain the Voice and Video Infrastructure.
- Analyze and monitor Call Quality and Voice issues.
- System-wide management, maintenance, and improvements
- Understanding of services, call records, RTMT, and UCM trace files
- All support for VoIP incident/problem management service desk support
- Device management including Internet Protocol (IP) phones, analog adaptors supporting fax machines or other analog equipment.
- Maintains, troubleshoots, resolves, and responds to network problems; and coordinates solutions with outside vendors, users, and information technology staff; and manages network communication projects with various vendors.
- Analyze, isolate, and resolve Cisco VOIP system problems. This includes, but is not limited to technical, procedural, operational, and functional issues with all major Cisco telephone applications, including Call Manager, Unity Connection, Jabber, and Emergency Responder.
- Configure, troubleshoot and maintain emergency broadcast notifications utilizing Informacast Fusion
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain 911 emergency call location utilizing Cisco Emergency Responder (CER) v14
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain internal analog phone service for devices including wall phones, indoor/outdoor emergency phones, elevator phones, security alarm panels, and fire alarm panels utilizing Cisco VG450 analog gateways.
- Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco ISR voice routers.
- Participate in monthly after-hours maintenance activities as needed to keep telephony services properly patched and upgraded.
- Must be well-versed in SIP through multiple carriers
- Experience with Cisco CUBE router configurations
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 0 years experience with BS/BA; 4 years experience with HS Diploma
- Experience in UC, VoIP, video conferencing, and telecom service
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco CCNA Collaboration or higher certification preferred, or other applicable Cisco certifications/experience
- Experience in telecommunications disaster recovery, strategic planning, and execution
Target Salary Range
$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
