Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Facilities Manager (FM) who will serve as the primary interface with building management, service vendors and repair providers.  This position will report directly to the Project Manager.  Specifically, the FM will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversees construction and renovation projects, and ensures that facilities meet environmental, health and security standards, as well as compliance with Government regulations
  • Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities in support of operations
  • Works with the management team in assessing requirements, engineering evaluations and solutions, planning for modification or additional facility upgrades/improvements
  • 24/7 point of contact for building emergencies and responses
  • Manages multiple functions of building operations and maintenance of the facility
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with building tenants and landlord
  • Coordinates with the Project Manager and all building contractors to ensure continuity of operations, building safety and adherence to applicable building codes
  • Sits on-site, as required, to manage construction contractors
  • Prepares monthly status reports
  • Maintains compliance with and abreast of changes regarding OSHA regulations
  • Works with the management team to help with vendor management, work orders, scheduling and approvals for work to be completed
  • Performs environmental hazard management/planning and remediation
  • Establishes and maintains equipment and system standards
Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and general construction
  • Familiar with blueprints, architectural terminology, building codes and competitive bid procedures
  • Must be able to work with little to no direction and be able to coordinate and work with management remotely
  • Experience working under stressful conditions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior management, peers, vendors and tenants, providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment with irregular work schedule to include after-hours responses

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
