General Information Technology Professional

Are you ready to make a significant impact on human spaceflight? We're looking for forward-thinking Information Technology Professionals (Multiple openings) to join our team in Houston, TX. The IT Professional role will be responsible for the review, analysis, and modification of programming systems while driving innovation and excellence across organization. This is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to shape the future of space exploration. 

Responsibilities could include: 

• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing to support the company’s or customer’s application systems. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives 

• Develop computer system specifications that address customer requirements that fit with the organization’s system architecture standards.  

• Validate that security and privacy policies, procedures, and directives are followed 

• Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.  

• Write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures while relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  

• Responsible for the solution of complex total systems problems.  

• Functional areas could include: 

• Systems Analysis 

• Information Privacy and Security 

• Computer Operator 

• Database Administrator 

• LAN Administrator  

**This position is contingent upon award of contract**  

Qualifications 

• Multiple Levels and Openings Available: 

• Level 1: BS/BA degree with 0-5 years.  

• Level 2: BS/BA degree with 4-9 years or 0-2 with MS/MA degree.  

• Level 3: BS/BA degree with 7-12 years or 3-5 with MS/MA degree or 0-2 years with PhD.  

• Ability to obtain security clearance or background investigation as required.  

• Must be familiar with commonly used concepts and practices within related disciplines 

Preferred: 

• Previous experience with NASA or DoD customers  

• Previous experience in human spaceflight mission full life cycle activities 

• Familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts
