About The Role
Overall Assignment Description:
Senior-level Cloud Architects play a key role in leading and overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of cloud service architecture. They evaluate and prioritize various cloud service alternatives to ensure the Government successfully designs business and mission solutions leveraging cloud-based systems and services.
Duties may include:
Leading and promoting cultural transformation for cloud adoption.
Overseeing the development and coordination of cloud architectures.
Developing cloud strategies and facilitating the adoption of cloud-based solutions.
Providing guidance and support to Mid- and Junior-level Cloud Architects on the team.
Qualifications

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
- 12+ years of experience in designing and architecting cloud-based systems.
- Experience with or in-depth understanding of MBSE
- Working experience with NGA/NRO joint integration activities.
- Working knowledge of NGA IPO infrastructure.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Cameo architecture tool, or similar tools.
- One or more of the following Cloud Certifications (or equivalent) are required:
- Cloud Certified Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator – Cloud
- Cisco Certified Network Professional – Cloud
- IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect
- MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA)
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range
Details
Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
