Peraton is looking for a fully cleared System Engineer & Splunk Administrator to support a high-impact cyber mission location out of Annapolis Junction, MD. You’ll maintain and modernize Splunk infrastructure, enhance security, and optimize system performance.

Experience with large-scale multimedia & multilingual content processing systems.
Expertise in distributed peer-to-peer storage with 500+ nodes.
Proficiency in metadata indexing, summarization, and analytics.
Strong background in system performance, scalability, and security.
Skilled in technical documentation and training.
Experience leading agile/spiral development models.
Integration of COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors.
Knowledge of distributed storage routing & querying algorithms.
Implementation of storage area networks, data warehouses, and data marts.
Optimization of global storage, retrieval, backup, and retention strategies.
Experience with clustered or cloud storage deployments.
Strong cross-team collaboration and user interaction skills.
Expertise in secure, compliant solution planning.
Knowledge of HDFS, Hadoop, HBase/Accumulo, and Big Table internals.
