Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking to hire an experienced Technical Writer/Account Manager to join our Federal Strategic Cyber program.
Location: Arlington, VA . Hybrid telework/remote work environment. Must be able to come on-site as needed.
Position Description:
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to scope the development efforts.
- Create and maintain documentation for a variety of processes and applications.
- Directly interface with vendors and externals to ascertain bigger pictures items for discussion with our Customer.
- Convey Customer requirements to external vendors.
- Act as POC for account management activities, such as onboarding, offboarding, user requests/feedback, etc..
- Will be responsible for creating/disabling/enabling/deleting user accounts per prescribed processes.
- Participate in the agile development and change management processes and software (e.g., JIRA).
- Produce and maintain software/change documentation (e.g., Gitlab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
- Interface and work closely with customer stakeholders.
- Assist with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of related technical writing experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Familiarity and understanding with cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience with translating technical details into user-friendly verbiage in the form of technical documentation.
- Experience interfacing with stakeholders as well as external vendors.
- Experience organizing/prioritizing requirements from the Customer and ensuring that their needs are met by-interfacing with external vendors.
- U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance required.
- In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation to start and for continued employment.
Preferred:
- Experience with SAFe Agile environments.
Target Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
