Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in transforming the future. The candidate will focus in the areas of strong leadership, people management and development, Task Order Management (responsibility for delivery, financial performance, and contract stewardship), and Resource Allocation (headcount and staffing plans) for multiple task orders/contracts within the larger organizational unit.

 

The Senior Program Manager will act as an advisor to subordinate managers/supervisors or technical leaders and lead teams with responsibilities to assist the customer.

 

This position will require direct people management and strong people leadership skills for a multi-disciplinary team. As the central point of contact with the government, the person filling this role is responsible for the entire account support for the program's contract and represents management for all projects and task orders.

 

What you will do:

 

  • This management position will be part of Peraton’s management team and participate in capture and proposal efforts, strategic initiatives, mentoring of emerging leaders and other duties as assigned by the Program Director. 
  • Develop strategies to plans for development and growth of a data science and analytics capabilities within the Financial and Regulatory business unit.
  • Act as liaison and coordinate with principal government representatives in support of their customers’ goals and chartered projects.
  • Provides guidance to project teams, establish executable baselines and manage program risks and opportunities in accordance with specific financial and operational obligations in accordance with sound business practices.
  • Determines customer requirements and translates these requirements into operational plans in collaboration with project teams. Monitors and reviews schedules, staffing requirements and interdependencies among programs.
Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience
  • 12 years of technical project management with agile experience.
  • 12  years of program management experience.
  • Extensive experience successfully managing information technology contracts.
  • 12  years of experience managing a portfolio in excess of $20M in value annually.
  • Demonstrated experience with direct P&L responsibility, including budget/cost controls.
  • Program experience with developing and managing budgets, developing forecasts, reading and interpreting cost reports and invoices.
  • Experienced in leading and motivating others, development of high potential employees, have a high level of collaboration with internal and external customers, partner service skills, and have the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as have the ability to interface effectively with employees, customers, and colleagues across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Preferred Qualifications:.

  • PMP Certification
  • Bachelors Degree is a plus
  • Experience leading data science and analytics programs in support of financial and regulatory agencies.
  • Experience leading data science and analytics strategy and planning.

Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
